  The Spam Issue

Unfortunately this board has had a lot of issues regarding spam recently. To mitigate this issue given the limited resources offered by the forum software itself, we have implemented a requirement that all registrations be confirmed by a member of the forum staff. This requirement will mean there should be no further instances of spam accounts registering and filling the forums with any undesirable content.

Putting together a set of links for microcontroller development. Link any other resources you find!

The first is a simple Python script that gives an example of interacting with a chip over an I2c bus. Specifically using the SMBus protocol.

I'm compiling a list of chips here that could be of interest for the rover.

AltIMU-10 v5 - This chip contains a barometer, accelerometer, magnetometer and two temperature sensors. It connects via I2C.
MinIMU-9 v5 - This chip contains just the accelerometer and magnetometer, at least one temperature sensor and also connects via I2C.

Keep in mind that the payload weight, along with some others needs to be updated. The final mass is 927+/-14 grams for now. I'll update these documents as more weights are measured!
